Q: How long have you been in business?

A: We have been building high-quality custom homes in the Inland Northwest since 2002.

Q: What types of homes do you build?

A: We build homes of any size or architectural style but only those that require a threshold level of quality craftsmanship…we do not engage low-quality home projects. Low budget homes often result in the use of substandard products and labor that we find unacceptable and often result in unsatisfied clients.

Q: When should we engage our contractor?

A: As soon as possible. We can assist with a range of important issues prior to purchasing the land, setting a budget or engaging an architect. We can quickly look at a building site and let you know what challenges lay ahead. We also prefer to work closely with the architect during the early planning and permit stages. This allows us to address potential construction or budgetary issues early in the process.

Q: I need land to build my house on, can you assist with that?

A: Yes, we can refer you to a licensed broker who can assist you with complex task of finding and evaluating land options for your new home. ONce land is identified, we can assist with the evaluating and/or developing the land to prepare for constructing your new home.

Q: How many homes do you build each year?

A: We typically engage a limited number of projects each year (1-4) depending on size, complexity, timing and market conditions. We are custom builders, not production builders, so our emphasis is on quality over quantity, both in construction and customer service.

Q: Do you offer plans or design services?

A: We have some plans available for our clients to use and/or modify but we also work regularly with outside designers and architects. Please contact us to determine which option is best for you.

Q: Who is the owner and how involved is he in the construction of my new home?

A: The owner of the business, Michael Chadduck, is deeply involved from start to finish in every stage of the home building process, including but not limited to site selection, contract preparation, plan design, production work and supervision, change requests, project accounting, and inspections. His expertise in all areas of the process ensures that your project is completed on time and on budget.

Q: Do you build high efficiency homes?

A: We are leading the way in building highly energy efficient “green” homes in the Inland Northwest and have committed to building all of our homes to these rigorous standards. We take indoor air quality, comfort, safety and energy efficiency very seriously, and believe that those traits go hand in hand with our quality focus. Q: How much do you charge to build a custom home?

A: The price of a new home can vary dramatically depending on the size, style, complexity and finish level. If you have an idea of what your project will entail we can prepare a preliminary estimate in just a few days. This is a good-faith, no obligation estimate to get you in the “ballpark”. Once we have narrowed down the exact design, features and amenities we will prepare a detailed estimate that locks in the cost of your project and becomes the basis for a contract. Q: What is your service area?

A: Our office and shop is located just south of Spokane, WA. Our normal service area is approximately a 50 mile radius from Spokane. This limits us to Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
